Meet Aurora, A 3.0 Fallback Avatar

Stop being a toothbrush, a banana, or an alien. Aurora is a custom fallback avatar that works with a simplified quest version and an improved pc version. If you constantly use a very poor avatar, most people will by default hide your avatar for performance. Or if you use a pc only avatar, quest users will see your default fallback avatar. Now you can still look like a cute anime girl to those around you.

Not intended to use as a regular avatar, but feel free to if you so choose.

• Phys Bones for both PC and Quest version. Only a few hair bones move on this one. Enough to make it feel like it moves.

Unity 2019.4.31f1

Upload Instructions:

• Make a new Unity project in the above version
• Import the newest VRCSDK
• Import Poiyomi shaders
• Import Aurora by soupiee.unitypackage
• Double click the Aurora by soupiee scene in the Scenes folder
• Double click the Aurora Quest scene and upload for Fallback in Android mode FIRST (Switch Build Target to Android).
• Make sure Use for Fallback Avatar is CHECKED and upload.
• Change your unity to PC in the VRChat SDK tab (Switch Build Target to Windows)
• Double click the Aurora PC scene. In the VRChat SDK tab, go to the content manager.
• Find your Quest avatar you just uploaded and Copy ID.
• In your PC avatar's inspector menu, paste the ID you just copied in the Pipeline Manager's blueprint ID.
• Make sure Use for Fallback Avatar is CHECKED and upload.
